Direct answer: the Boiled One is live. His mode is a separate basement map (Main Basement, Easy/Medium/Hard). Collect fuel cans, fuel the generators, keep him in your sight, then unlock the basement exit door. The house escape upstairs still uses the wire cutters, the Key, and the keycard. Collect fuel cans
Fuel cans are small tan-yellow canisters spread around the basement. You can carry more than one, and any can works on any generator.

Fuel every generator
Find each generator and fuel it until it turns on. Reports disagree on how many there are (five in some runs, a 4/4 counter in others), so trust the number your server shows.

Keep the Boiled One in sight
Players report that looking at him slows him down and looking away lets him move very fast, the opposite of breaking line of sight upstairs. Crawl-under spaces work as short safe spots.
